The ideal candidate will have experience with operating and maintaining various machines to fabricate precision parts. Under minimal supervision and following established procedures, this role will CAM, fixture, setup, machine and inspect prototype parts to drawing specifications. Join our team of dedicated professionals where you can showcase your machining skills and contribute to the production of high-quality and innovative solutions.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision partsConfigure machines and cutting tools to exact measurements that will produce parts in compliance with engineering designsMonitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and achievement of specificationsInspect finished parts for accuracy and qualityPerform routine maintenance on machinery as necessaryCollaborate with engineers and other team members to improve production processesAbility to develop and prove out new CNC machining programs to produce complex components in accordance with engineering designsAbility to develop and prove out new procedures and improve existing processes for complex componentsQualifications and Skills:Proficiency in operating CNC machines (Fanuc control preferred)Experience with Solidworks, HSMworks, and Fusion 360 preferredHighly detail oriented with the ability to keep a clean and organized workspaceAbility to accurately use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators etc.Advanced knowledge of speed and feed calculations for different materials, operations, geometry, and tolerancesAdvanced knowledge of proper tooling selectionFamiliarity and experience with precision measuring toolsExperience machining and qualifying parts with tolerances as tight as +-0.0001"Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of power toolsBasic math skills for measurements and calculationsGood mechanical aptitude requiredVisual acuity needed for close detail work, inspection, operating tools and machinery, using measurement devices and visual inspection involving small defects and partsBenefits:Market-competitive salary, based on experienceComprehensive Health Coverage (MedicalDentalVision)401(k)Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO)ECM is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, or veteran status.
