Job Title: Vendor Contract Specialist - IT Procurement Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSchedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote (hybrid)Pay Rate: $36+ per hour Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vendor Contract Specialist - IT Procurement to oversee the competitive sourcing process and manage contract negotiations with vendors across Information Technology, Human Resources, and Facilities. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of vendor contracts, including new agreements, extensions, renewals, and terminations. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless communication with key stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle and collaborate with internal teams to execute agreements effectively.Key Responsibilities:Manage the competitive sourcing process, including the BidRFP process, to identify and onboard new vendor partners.Negotiate, draft, and execute various types of agreements, including but not limited to:Statements of Work (SOW)Master Service Agreements (MSA)Service AgreementsLicense AgreementsAmendmentsChange requestsTermination noticesOversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initial discussions to final execution, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Data Privacy, and other departments, to address contractual requirements and mitigate risks.Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful contract outcomes.Monitor contract performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure timely renewals or terminations as needed.Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts and related documentation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Legal Studies, or a related field.Proven experience in contract management, vendor negotiations, and competitive sourcing.Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and vendor management best practices.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.Experience working with IT, HR, and Facilities-related vendors is a plus.Preferred Skills:Certification in Contract Management (e.g., CPCM, CCCM) or Procurement (e.g., CPSM) is a plus.Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
