CLAIMS ADJUSTEREXAMINERResponsible for examining & approving propertycasualty claims while providing exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:Process propertycasualty claims following the guidelines of the insurance policy.Analyze and evaluate liability, settlement values, & coverages.Establish and adjust reserves adequately based on claim & coverages.Check and approve independent adjuster's bills and other claim related expense.Review investigations, related forms, and reports to make final determinations.Review claim for subrogation possibilities,Provide exceptional customer service to agents, insured's, independent adjusters and attorneys.Attend depositions, pre-trial conferences and trials as circumstances require.Perform other related duties as assigned.Skills5 years NY PropertyCasualty insurance experienceProperty Claim experience is preferredCustomer ServiceProfessionalismTime ManagementVerbal and written communication skillsOrganizational SkillsComputer skills including Microsoft OfficeAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to work under pressure and meet deadline"This compensation range reflects the company's expectations for this position at the time of posting.
