LHH is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with experience in insurance defense. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense litigation, an understanding of legal procedures, and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial through post-trial.Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and deposition summaries.Manage case files and track deadlines to ensure timely submission of documents and filings.Coordinate and manage discovery, including document review and production.Prepare for trial, including assembling exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.Maintain client communication and ensure clients are informed of case status and developments.Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.Conduct legal research and analysis related to case strategy and insurance defense.Assist with settlement negotiations and prepare settlement documentation as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification (ABA-approved program preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on insurance defense.Strong knowledge of insurance defense litigation and related processes.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Benefits:Competitive salary based on prehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision insurance, etc.).Retirement plan options.Professional development and training opportunities.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Salary:$80,000-$85,000yr.If interested in this litigation paralegal position, please apply today!
