Join a Global Leader in Sustainable Chemical SolutionsFPC is seeking an experienced and dynamic InstrumentElectrical (IE) Project Engineer to join a global and innovative chemical company committed to delivering sustainable, high-value solutions that ensure the long-term success of customers. As part of a flagship manufacturing site, you will play a key role in driving the successful implementation of projects, while optimizing and enhancing the site's instrumentation and electrical assets. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence project systems and processes that have a direct impact on operational excellence and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Project Design and Execution: Lead design engineering support for a variety of instrumentation and electrical projects. Develop detailed scope of work for both disciplines, ensuring that projects meet all technical requirements.Project Leadership: Assume the role of Project Team Leader when required, overseeing the overall success of projects in terms of cost, timeline, and quality.Technical Expertise: Provide expert-level support for instrumentation and electrical issues at the plant, contributing to successful installations and ensuring smooth start-ups for new systems.Risk and Safety Management: Actively participate in Design Hazard Reviews to identify potential risks and mitigate them. Ensure all project activities comply with safety standards, food safety, GMP, environmental, and quality regulations.Equipment and Resource Management: Conduct equipment design calculations, create detailed equipment specifications, and develop a comprehensive spare parts list for new installations. Manage resource allocation, including drafting resources, to ensure timely project completion.Project Coordination and Communication: Lead project meetings as needed and maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, resolving issues efficiently. Ensure smooth coordination across teams and departments.On-Site Leadership: Provide hands-on support during the field implementation phase, including troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure successful project execution.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging diverse perspectives to achieve collective goals. Participate in company-wide Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.Flexibility: Demonstrate adaptability and a strong commitment to meeting production goals, including the ability to work extra hours or overtime as needed to fulfill project requirements.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Instrumentation and Electrical Project Engineering.Certifications: Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and emailInternet communication tools.Collaborative Spirit: Strong ability to work in a diverse, team-oriented environment with an inclusive, collaborative mindset.
