Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of HVAC and piping construction projects, from initial handoff from estimating through final completion and close-out. This role involves overseeing project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and quality control while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring timely and profitable project completion. The Project Manager performs a variety of duties, including, but not limited to: Implementing and managing the HVAC project schedule, to ensure adequate progress towards key milestones Acting as primary point of contact for owner representatives and continually building and maintaining a positive relationship Communicating key objectives and targets to the Project Team Managing resources to ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and manpower Review submittals for accuracy and release equipment to meet the project schedule Participating in coordination meetings and communicating project schedules with the BIM team Budgeting and controlling expenses and man hours to ensure profitable completion Interfacing with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of work as planned Coaching Project Engineers to facilitate both productivity and careerknowledge growth Solving problems, as they arise, by using available knowledge and resources Providing executive level reports to management team on a regular basis Timely reviewing and completing of project close out documents and tasks Ensuring safe work practices, compliance with all Federal and State safety rules and managing safety risk at all levels Communicating and upholding the Company's commitment to Integrity and Code of Ethics, as well as ensuring the same for the entire team Coordinating and scheduling equipment start up with manufacturers and internal service group Other Duties as Assigned Qualifications & Abilities Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred but not required. At least five (5) years of construction related experience in the mechanical contracting field. Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation Excellent communication and organizational skills Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate team members effectively. Demonstrates a strong ability to manage time effectively, ensuring deadlines are consistently met and projects are completed on schedule Proficient in using various computer applications and software relevant to project management and administration Work Environment & Physical Requirements Works in a field and office setting on a regular basis Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Field work may include adverse weather, loud working conditions, and high levels of activity Classification & Compensation The position is full-time, permanent and exempt The salary range varies, depending on experience, skills, and abilities
