As technical product owner across the Sky product suite, you'll join a highly talented software team in building modern web applications, machine learning models, and containerized edge solutions for the Aerospace industry. Specifically, clients will use our technology to more seamlessly perform their jobs. You will join a product team and work closely with capable, talented software engineers and end users. This is a significant opportunity to implement a product suite from the ground up. As a team member, you will:Define technical requirements from client feature requestsDevelop detailed technical product backlog while refining and continuously and prioritizing the backlogManage team agile events and contribute to unblocking software ticketsWork closely with the Intrinsic Product Director and Chief Technology OfficerLead an experienced delivery team of modern M&S engineers in an Agile settingLeverage Intrinsic's modeling and simulation expertise to create exciting features and products for our customers that make a differenceDesign, build, and deliver a new product to an emerging marketspaceWork on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing teamDive in and rapidly grow your skills with the latest technologyMinimum qualifications:A DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance is required for this positionBachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, similar technical degree field, or equivalent practical experienceExperience mentoring, coaching, and developing rising talent in software technologyExcellent time management and organizational skillsA keen sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising teamsExperience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentalityExperience leading team building and deploying production codeKnowledge of web application and microservice architecturesSoftware development leadership experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: CC++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or GoFamiliar with Git in a team environmentExperience working with one or more of the following: web application development, DevSecOps product development, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, developing new software applications, andor secure software developmentUS CitizenshipPreferred qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science, or similar degree fieldAgile scrum certificationsExperience building and shipping products2+ years of relevant experience in software development using Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization strategies5+ years of software development experience, with emphasis on backend application development3+ years experience with modeling and simulation software3+ years web application, API-driven, service-oriented architecture experienceExperience working with Agile, Lean andor Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP)Interest and ability to learn emerging technologies as neededAbout Intrinsic:We are a technology services and product development company creating cloud-based solutions.
