About the RoleWe are seeking a Mechanical 3D-CAD Design Engineer to join our hardware design team, working on cutting-edge consumer electronics hardware. In this role, you will:Lead mechanical design efforts for high-volume consumer productsDevelop and optimize 3D CAD models using CREOCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mechanical solutionsGuide and review external design workEnsure designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturing requirementsKey ResponsibilitiesCreate and optimize 3D CAD designs for hardware componentsOwn subsystem development and oversee the entire mechanical design lifecycleProvide design reviews and technical guidance to external teamsLead and attend cross-functional meetings to ensure project alignmentResearch and implement best practices for mechanical engineering designRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering design10+ years of hands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling (preferably CREO)5+ years of experience in Design of Electronic HardwareBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldStrong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical testingPreferred SkillsExperience in consumer electronics designAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprintsStrong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skillsUnderstanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly)About BrickRed Systems:BrickRed Systems is a global leader in next-generation technology, consulting, and business process service company.
