Logistics Engineer

1. Plan for Every Part (PFEP)2. Kitting and Sequencing3. Time Study & Line balancing4. Layout design5. Warehouse & Material routes• Engagement in Daily Management system (CBS) • Collaborate with members of the logistics team to identify gaps to achieve area metrics. • Execute Continuous Improvement activities related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, & Productivity • Engage with safety dept, maintenance, tool room, or external vendors to support improvements. • Follow up on implemented solutions to confirm effectiveness. • Support necessary line balancing activities, including time studies and work instruction updates as needed. • Participate in kaizen events related to logistics as identified. • Facilitate creation of operator instructions and work aids • Provide ME support in various stages of Build along with shop floor co-ordination. • Co-ordination for Engineering Change Management (ECO) and implementation support, updating systems for delivery methods. • Support Validation of Kitting logic (Time, BOM Consumption, Model Option) • Support packaging requirements making changes as needed • Manage kitting system and generate kit sheets • Background in Microsoft Access is preferred • Other duties as assigned
