See our story here - A day in the life:As a National Account Manager for O'Keeffe's Hand and Foot Cream, your day is dynamic, blending strategic planning, curiosity, data analysis, and relationship-building, all with a healthy dose of grit and determination to drive success within Walmart's Health and Beauty category. Here's what a typical day might look like...Get that coffee, and then get after it! Start your day by reviewing sales performance data on Walmart's Retail Link platform. Check how O'Keeffe's products perform across different regions, identifying trends or areas needing attention. We're agile and have a challenger mentality, allowing you to think differently about engaging the retailer. Your mantra is to test the status quo, experiment, and learn.Keep up-to-date on industry news or reports on skincare trends and competitor activity to stay informed about the market landscape. Everyone should have a growth mindset and an insatiable appetite for learning. Internal Team CollaborationJoin a virtual meeting with the marketing and product development teams to discuss upcoming promotional campaigns tailored to Walmart's Health and Beauty category.Provide feedback from recent discussions with Walmart buyers, ensuring alignment between O'Keeffe's strategies and Walmart's merchandising goals. Because of your strong relationships with the retailer, you have an advantage in supporting the category better.Buyer Meeting Preparation Prepare for a meeting with Walmart category managers by finalizing a presentation highlighting recent sales performance, customer insights, and proposed initiatives (e.g., seasonal promotions or new product launches).Review compliance requirements for upcoming product lines to ensure they meet Walmart's standards, including clean beauty guidelines if applicable.Lunch and NetworkingTake a break to connect with colleagues about the upcoming "Gorilla Way Day," when you'll support a charity outside the office for the entire day! Buyer Meeting at Walmart HQ (or Virtual)Meet with Walmart's Health and Beauty buyers to present O'Keeffe's growth strategy. Discuss opportunities for expanded shelf space, new product placements, or promotional campaigns (e.g., endcap displays or seasonal features).Negotiate pricing strategies and promotional budgets to maximize visibility and sales during key periods, such as winter (when hand cream demand peaks).Employee Resource GroupThis is time dedicated to the Women's Group to discuss the planning of National Women's Day and its global events or to connect with the "Gorillas Go Green Team" to organize a new recycling program you want to introduce at Gorilla. Data Analysis & Follow-UpPartner with your team to analyze sales data from the past week, focusing on trends linked to recent promotions or changes in product placement.Draft follow-up emails summarizing key points from the buyer meeting earlier in the day, including the following steps and action items.Strategic PlanningSpend time planning for upcoming seasonal campaigns or new product launches by coordinating with internal teams on timelines, budgets, and deliverables.Brainstorm ideas for innovative in-store displays or digital marketing efforts that align with Walmart's omnichannel strategy.This role offers variety, fast-paced challenges, and the opportunity to impact O'Keeffe's growth within one of the world's largest retailers!Your remit:Represent The Gorilla Glue Company at the highest level of professionalism with a focus on building mutually beneficial partnershipsMaintain existing business relationships with a focus on business growth year over year.Identify and develop strategies and programs to sustain the business long-term and penetrate new channelssegments.Develop programs that respect corporate performance metrics (margin, etc.).Maintain and establish functional relationships with essential buyers at all National Accounts.Executions and promotions of national accounts through direct telephone communications to stores.Own strategy for pricing, offers, and promotions.Gauge promotional and off-shelf execution participation.Use analytical tools to support sales efforts.The experience and attitude that you will bring:10+ years of experience working, developing, and growing in a business development setting within a complex CPG environment.Health and Beauty category experience and expertise. Goal-oriented, confident, outgoing, and able to work well under pressure.Love the role as a challenger brand. Be passionate about the work! Proven ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.Demonstrate exceptional judgment and integrity and be a good person!Must possess excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
