Associate Business Manager - CPG

COMPANY ROLE: On Shelf Marketing Group - Cincinnati is a Faith Based Full-Service Broker Specializing in Kroger and Best-In-Market Representation. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong desire to learn, both on the sales and analytical side of the business, will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.RESPONSIBILITIES:•  Assist the Business Manager in the development of strategic plans for assigned manufacturers.•  Provide updated reporting in the areas of new item tracking, promotional analysis, activeeveryday retails, forecasting, and additional manufacturerbusiness specific reporting requests.•  Assist Business Manager in meeting preparations with assigned manufacturers.•  Assist Business Manager in the areas of contract disputes, repays, claims through contract and promotional planner research.•  Assist Business Manager in preparation for customer appointments, sales meetings, and internal prep meetings.•  Support the category insights and sales teams on new item presentations, category research and sales opportunity gaps.•   Communicate effectively with all associates, customers, and principals to ensure quality and timely information is delivered.REQUIREMENTS:•  Bachelor's degree in business or related field.•  CPGRetail experience is preferred.•  Ability to demonstrate good problem-solving ability and develop workable solutions.•  Make decisions with limited guidance and possess strong communication skills; both written and verbal.•  Ability to lead by example, while cultivating a respectful environment where everyone feels appreciated.•  An understanding of POS, syndicated, & card data (ex.
