The OpportunityWe are seeking an accomplished, self-driven, highly motivated SDET. This position will be based in Lone Tree, CO onsite only.The SDET is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and tools that ensure the quality of out software products. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure that automated tests are integrated into the development process and high-quality software is delivered. This role requires a mix of software development skills and a passion for testing.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTest Automation Development:Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.Build and Improve testing frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.Ensure that automation is integrated with CICD pipelines to support continuous testing.Test Strategy & PlanningCollaborate with development teams to define test strategies, create test plans, and ensure adequate test coverage.Write test cases based on feature requirements and user stories to ensure full coverage of the product.Design and implement testing approaches for complex systems involving APIs, databases, and user interfaces.Manual Testing & ValidationConduct exploratory testing to identify edge and ensure the robustness of the software.Perform manual testing where automation is not applicable or feasible.Document and track defects, working wtih developers to resolve issues.CollaborationWork closely with software developers, product managers, and DevOps team to ensure that software quality is built into every stage of the development lifecycle.Participate in code reviews, ensuring that testing and quality considerations are incorporated.Provide feedback to improve software development practices related to testing and quality assurance.Test Reporting & DocumentationMonitor test execution, provide detailed reports on the test results, and identify trends or issues in software quality.Ensure comprehensive documentation of test cases, test scripts, and defect municate test outcomes and metrics to stakeholders.Required Experience and Job QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software testing or development, with experience in test automation. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., Agile, TDD, BDD). Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured. Familiarity with CICD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Appium) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture. Knowledge of database testing and writing SQL queries. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester). The ideal candidate can take the 20 and figure out the 80, has situational awareness and understands the chain of command as they represent others before they represent themselves.
