Summary:Become part of a forward-thinking team at a worldwide automotive firm in Raymond, Ohio by taking on the role of a CAE Engineer. Utilize your extensive background as a CAE Analyst, especially in vehicle dynamics, ride comfort, noise and vibration, and steering and brake performance, to enhance the capabilities of this accomplished team. As a key member of an elite group of engineers, you will focus on developing and validating innovative CAE methodologies and processes, particularly in the realm of advanced 1D modeling and analysis. Required Skillset:A minimum of 10 years of experience as a CAE AnalystAn advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for two years of the required experience.Specialization in vehicle dynamics, focusing on areas such as vehicle handling, ride comfort, noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), steering, and brake performance.Expertise in 1D and Model-Based Design (MBD) CAE tools, including Matlab, Simulink, Simscape.Proficiency in vehicle dynamics simulation software like CarSim, CarMaker.Skilled in multi-body dynamics software such as Simpack or Adams, and AmeSim.Proficient in programming languages, particularly Python and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).BS Degree of higher in Mechanical Engineering. Capable of developing custom CAE methods for improved modeling and analysis, a nice to have. Location: Raymond, Ohio (Hybrid onsite schedule) Type: Contract Duration: 12+ months
