The Financial Controller will report to the COO. Responsible for monthly close, financial planning and reporting, cash flow management, inventory reporting, profit analysis, risk management, leases and contracts, banking relationshipsaudits, and government reportingaudits as needed.Essential functions:Manages the Accounting teamMonthly Financial Statements and cost analysisPreparation of Annual Budget and Quarterly ForecastsCash Flow Management and ForecastPricing and Profit AnalysisBanking and Line of Credit (LOC)Inventory ManagementRisk ManagementLegal and ContractsOversee Annual AuditReviewTax Return PreparationSales Tax ReportingHuman Resources Oversight of Payroll and BenefitsAll other duties and projects as assignedQualificationsSkillsEducation Requirements:Experience working in Small BusinessesTech-savvy with proficiency in financial software, advanced Excel skills, and a strong aptitude for leveraging technology to streamline financial processes and reporting.Strong leadership skillsStrong finance based analytical skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsSuperior time management and organizational skillsStrong knowledge and experience in GAAPInnovative and critical thinkingAbility to work independently and in a team setting
