Title: Coding SupervisorLocation: Colton, CAPay rate range: $30.00 to $35.00Schedule: 7:00 am-3:30 pm, or 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Telecommute is an option. Must live close by in cases of going on site. M- F.Job DetailsWill oversee about 23 Coders and Provide auditing and training as wellOPTION 1: Two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years, of full-time comprehensive coding medical records in an acute care hospital.-OR-OPTION 2: Two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years, of full-time experience auditing and processing medical records in an acute care hospital or outpatient clinic setting.Minimum RequirementsApplicants must meet both of the following credentials and experience requirements:CREDENTIALS:Must possess and maintain one (1) of the following:Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) issued by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) issued by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) issued by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).Certified Professional Coder (CPC) issued by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Desired QualificationsLeadSupervisory experience in an acute care hospital is highly desired.
