Post Closing Specialist

A Post-Closing Specialist plays a crucial role in the final stages of the loan process, ensuring that all necessary documents are accurately completed and submitted on time. This position involves meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key responsibilities include:Reviewing loan packages for completeness and compliance with company policies and investor requirements.Coordinating with lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders to obtain missing documents or correct discrepancies.Ensuring that all post-closing conditions are met before the loan is funded.Preparing and delivering final documents to investors or custodians.Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and communications for audit municating with borrowers to resolve any post-closing issues or inquiries.Strong knowledge base of underwriting guidelines with an emphasis on Non-QM. Staying updated on industry changes and regulations that may affect post-closing processes.The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with various teams and external partners. A background in finance or real estate, along with experience in mortgage processing or a related field, is highly desirable. Non-QM underwriting background a plus. Proficiency with loan origination systems and document management software is also beneficial.
