Will offer relocation as a sign on bonus!Estimated 300 hours of overtimeOther benefits include:Company VehicleExpensed gasFlexible Hybrid Schedule (must be located near Pueblo, CO or willing to relocate)Journey Level Substation Apparatus TechnicianResponsibilities:Commissioning, diagnostic testing, and maintenance on all substation apparatus; (Power Transformers, LTC's, Circuit Breakers, Circuit Switchers, Instrument Transformers, Reactor banks, and Capacitor Banks).Use common industry testing methods including Power Factor Testing, SFRA Testing, TTR Testing, Circuit Breaker Timing, CT Saturation testing, Dissolved Gas Analysis.Diagnose and repair Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems. Use SF6 Gas and Mineral Oil handling techniques and equipment.Requirements:Ability to pass the following tests: Technical Apprentice Qualification, and Substation Technician and Substation Apparatus Technician with a 75% or better score.6 years of education experience in electricalelectronic fields, to include 2 years of substation apparatus maintenance.Education - Associate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Electronics Technology; advanced studies in industrial electrical and electromechanical controls and hydraulic, pneumatic devices, digital systems control log.(4) years of practical experience in industrial electrical-electromechanicalhydraulic-pneumatic-electronic control equipment; involving testing and maintaining power transformers, power circuit breakers, including associated equipment and electrical insulation system testing and repair.Capable of interpreting electrical schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control logic, and basic theory of operation of substation relays.Ability to complete a successful background check.Colorado Class "˜A' Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazardous Material endorsements, obtain within 6 months of hire.Maintain First Aid and CPR Certification Willingness to work in and around high voltages, travel overnight up to 75%, work irregular hours, be able to climb and work at heights, and manage extreme conditions.Must reside within 60 minutes response time from your regular reporting location, located in Pueblo. (Southern Colorado Springs)Must have sufficient knowledge and skill in the safe use of basic hand tools, power tools, electrical and electronic tools, and electronic test equipment.
