Title: Construction ManagerLocation: Delta, UT and Adelanto, CADuration: Direct hireSalary: $160,000 - $170,000Per Diem: YesOur client is an EPC contractor specializing in the installation of utility and industrial process infrastructure including substations, power generation, industrial process facilities, and renewable fuel projects. They are currently executing an EPC contract for a large 500kV HVDC substation project.Overview: The Site Construction Supervisor will provide leadership, coordination, and technical expertise on-site for the entirety of the project. This role involves daily collaboration with team leads and the safety advisor to ensure project goals are being met according to plan, on time, and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Partner with department leads and project manager to ensure team efficiency, subcontractor performance, and alignment with contract terms, budgets, and corporate safety protocols into the project plan, promote safety awareness, and address unsafe conditions as they arise.Oversee the full construction process to ensure effective use of materials, labor, and equipment while meeting productivity and contract performance standards.Review and assess subcontractor work and compliance with project requirements.Assist department leads with project scope, technical queries, and problem-solving.Regularly assess project progress, tracking goals, timelines, and milestones.Facilitate daily coordination meetings with subcontractors and team members.Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and safety standards during construction activities.Provide support during the facility's start-up, commissioning, and testing phases.Position Reports to: Project ManagerQualifications and Experience:A degree in a relevant field, preferably in construction management.Extensive experience (20-25 years) in facility construction, particularly in substation or similar projects, with a proven history of successful project delivery.Strong technical expertise in high-voltage electrical installations and associated systems.Deep understanding of construction methodologies, equipment, labor agreements, project management processes, safety standards, and budget control.
