Product Engineer

Responsibilities:Supervise fabricatorstechnicians (currently two employees).Maintain and improve manufacturing standards to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.Ensure workplace safety and compliance with OSHA and industry regulations.Verify accuracy of production drawings and improve documentation (SOPs, work instructions).Train and cross-train employees as needed.Manage production schedules to meet customer requirements and boost municate with customers on sales, order specifications, support, and quotes.Design products based on existing platforms to meet customer needs.Develop electrical panel layouts and control panel designs using AutoCAD.Procure materials to support stall equipment and train customers when required.Provide clear reporting and communication to ownership.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Lead major projects (e.g., plant layout changes, capital investments).Foster a positive work culture and employee motivation.Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.Maintain accountability to company policies and procedures.Qualifications & Experience:Manufacturing experience in electrical wiring and PLC controllers.Prefer experience in fabricationassembly of industrial products.B.S. in Engineering with 3+ years of experience, or an Associate degree with 10+ years of experience.Strong quality mindset and attention to standards.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.Proactive and action-oriented.Physical Requirements:Ability to hear and communicate effectively in person, by phone, and on the production floor.Adequate vision for computer and production work.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted and assist coworkers as needed.Frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, and sitting for extended pany Overview:Established manufacturing company in the Adirondack region.Vertically integrated site with fabrication, welding, assembly, and petitive compensation: base salary plus performance-based bonus.Benefits include medical, dental, vacation, and holidays.
