We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer with expertise in Injection Molding to join their growing team. If you have at least 2 years of experience in process engineering with a strong background in injection molding, we want to hear from you!Job Summary:As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting, and ensuring high product quality in our injection molding operations. You will work closely with production teams to improve process efficiency, reduce cycle times, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and optimize injection molding processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis on molding-related issues and provide corrective actions.Monitor machine performance and ensure proper machine setup, calibration, and maintenance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (quality, production, and maintenance) to support new product introductions, mold changes, and tool design improvements.Perform process documentation, including process flow diagrams, control plans, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Provide technical support during the launch of new products, ensuring molds and processes meet all design specifications and production requirements.Train and mentor operators and technicians on process optimization techniques, best practices, and troubleshooting.Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.Maintain safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer in an injection molding environment.Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Technical Skills:Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials, and equipment.Proficiency in process optimization techniques such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA).Experience with mold design, tooling, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with CAD software and injection molding simulation tools (e.g., Moldflow) is a plus.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex process-related munication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.Attention to Detail: Ability to closely monitor and adjust processes to ensure high-quality output.Preferred Skills:Experience with automation and robotics in injection molding processes.Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma certifications (e.g., Green Belt or Black Belt).Knowledge of ISO and other industry standards related to manufacturing.
