Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Automation Engineer, your role will include:Design, develop, and implement SCADA and HMI systems for industrial automation projectsIntegrate SCADAHMI systems with PLCs and industrial control hardwareProvide hands-on technical expertise for configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing HMI systemsWork directly with industrial control systems, including hardware, sensors, control panels, and motor drivesCollaborate on system designs, control packages, and operator interfaces to meet customer specificationsEngage with customers to assess needs and deliver tailored industrial automation solutionsPerform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure seamless functionality in real-world applicationsCoordinate with internal teams, technicians, and shop personnel to ensure smooth execution of automation projects Experience and QualificationsWhat we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technology fieldMinimum of 2 years experience designing, programming, and implementing HMI and SCADA systems in industrial environmentsProficiency in Ignition® SCADAHMI developmentExperience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or automation environment is required (not software development or IT automation)Ability to integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, field hardware, and industrial networksStrong troubleshooting skills for industrial control system integrationProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work in industrial settings, including standing, kneeling, bending, navigating tight spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs as neededFlexibility to travel up to 30% and work on-call as neededBonus: Experience with Siemens or Rockwell PLCs This is not a software development or office automation role. Candidates must have hands-on experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, and field hardware integration.
