Electrical Supervisor (Duraflake)

The ideal candidate will lead by example, ensuring that area goals, action plans, standards, and guidelines are set, implemented, and followed up as required. This role involves sharing on-call coverage for the mill, supporting ARP (Asset Reliability Process) implementation, and being responsible for succession planning within areas of ownership.Key Responsibilities:Leadership: Conduct effective meetings, coach technicians, involve teams in decision-making processes, and provide daily leadership and organization to the maintenance team.Personnel Development: Assess business needs, develop personal development plans, establish clear expectations for maintenance employees, and ensure accountability.Facility Support: Maintain high levels of reliability on plant equipment and systems, track and detail downtime, participate in planning meetings, manage capital projects, oversee daily electrical work, and ensure code compliance.Safety: Lead the implementation of safety improvements, prevent incidents, promote electrical safety practices, and actively participate in BBS initiatives.Required Knowledge and Skills:Proven ability to lead people in various maintenance activities.Strong project management skills, including managing timelines and budgets.Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation processes.Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and CAD.Familiarity with SAP is a benefit.Effective written, oral, and listening skills.Electrical License, with preference being given to supervisory electrical licenses (Reciprocal states also apply (OR, WA, ID, WY, MN, UT, ME, AR)Benefits & PerksWe offer a comprehensive benefits package tailored to meet diverse needs, including:Medical, Dental, Vision, HSAFSA options401k with company matchPaid Maternity & Paternity Leave, PTO, and holidaysWellness Program, Gym Reimbursement, Pet InsuranceShift differential pay, profit-sharing, and moreRecognition:2023 Oregon Governor's Occupational Safety & Health Award for Workplace Safety Program.
