Quality Engineer

Role: Quality EngineerDuration: Full TimeLocation: Lewisburg TN (onsite)Experience: between 5-12 yearsOur Quality team is expanding and looking to add a Quality Engineer. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for fulfilling the role of manufacturing and quality expert; this is a hands-on position with customer interaction. Works closely with customers and other departments during process development and APQP for new products. Ensure the quality of the parts produced meets all customer expectations. Quickly and effectively take action when non-conformances are found. Maintain and improve quality management system to comply with established standards. Other duties include:Initiate and maintain customer interface and supportCreateUpdate all APQP documents including FMEA, Control Plans and Flow Diagrams.Follow AIAG APQP procedures and Customer-specific requirementsPPAP submissionsContinuous improvement of plant scrap, process capability, and quality cost activitiesResponsible for addressing customer concerns through corrective action activities, action plans, customer-specific reporting techniques, etc.Maintain a quality management system to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and customer-specific requirementsPartner with production and engineering on quality-related issuesCreates quality reports and action plans for reporting to executive management as well as customersResponsible for other duties or special projects as assignedTo be a qualified candidate you must meet the following:Should have 5-15 years of experience as a quality Engineer.Experience working with Tier 1 Automotive companies.Good Communication Skills.
