If you have a strategic mindset, technical expertise in pumps, and experience in specification bidding, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact.Key Responsibilities:🔹 Market Research & Opportunity AssessmentConduct in-depth research on competitor offerings, industry trends, and customer needsAnalyze specifications, plumbing codes, and technical data to inform product developmentIdentify market gaps and new business opportunities in the pump industry🔹 Product Development & EngineeringLead the design, development, and lifecycle management of new high HP pump solutionsCollaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and product management teamsEnsure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements🔹 Business Development & SpecificationDevelop strategies to promote products to specification engineersManage key specifications and ensure pump solutions are included in commercial project bidsEstablish strong relationships with engineering firms, contractors, and pump representatives🔹 Partnership & Sales SupportIdentify and recruit pump representatives to include products in their catalogsProvide technical support for bid preparation and proposal developmentRepresent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry eventsQualifications:✅ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)✅ 5+ years of experience in commercialindustrial pump development, market research, or engineering✅ Strong background in specification bidding, proposal development, and sales support✅ Expertise in pump design, manufacturing, and compliance with industry standards✅ Excellent project management, market analysis, and technical communication skills🔹 Highly Preferred:Direct experience working with engineering firms, contractors, or specification engineersKnowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other engineering design softwareFamiliarity with HVAC, plumbing, or water systems-related industries📍 Location: This role is based in Edison, NJ. Some travels, nationally and internationally, are required for this position.
