LHH is seeking a skilled Service EngineerTechnical Support Specialist to provide exceptional technical support and service to our internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be available immediately to take this role on a temporary basis to cover a maternity this role, you will:Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and update complex electromechanical equipment, computer systems, software, and networked or wireless systems for internal operating functions (engineers, technicians, and product support personnel).Act as a point of escalation for complex issues that first-line support is unable to resolve, ensuring timely resolution of product malfunctions.Deliver technical assistance and solutions via phone, email, or in-person for both hardware and software issues.Monitor equipment and machinery performance, develop preventative maintenance strategies, and conduct regular quality assurance and safety checks to ensure high levels of operational integrity.Provide recommendations for product improvements and new features based on client feedback, troubleshooting experiences, and performance data.Conduct training for internal teams and customers to ensure effective use of equipment, including delivering demonstrations for safe and efficient equipment handling.Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, engineers, and other technicians to address service concerns and provide effective solutions.Write detailed reports on troubleshooting activities, solutions provided, and product performance, presenting findings to managers and supervisors regularly.Maintain inventory and reorder materials as necessary to support ongoing operations.Stay updated on industry developments through research and workshops to ensure skills remain cutting-edge.Required Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (associate's degree may be considered with relevant experience).Relevant certification or license in the engineering or technical field is advantageous.Strong experience in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems, as well as software and network systems.Excellent active listening, communication, and customer service skills.Ability to handle multiple service requests and remain calm under pressure.Superb work ethic, growth mindset, and a commitment to continuous professional development.A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
