Come join a team of other passionate, hardworking employees and become part of a friendly, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:In collaboration with the firm's senior electrical and managerial staff, this candidate will be responsible for leading a team of electrical staff engineers and overseeing the completion of various design and construction projects, which will involve the following:Collaboration with other disciplines within the firm to support and advance electrical and controls aspects of water, wastewater and architectural improvement projectsApplication of electrical design principles to guide the development of plans and specifications for capital improvement projectsLead and support the technical development and design performed by a team of staff engineersGuide staff engineers throughout the process of construction submittal reviewsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related discipline10-20 years of consulting engineering experience with power and control system designconstructionExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenExperience being the lead engineer on projects and managingmentoring staff level engineersSelf-motivated and eager to learnWaterWastewater municipal experience in a consulting environmentProficient in preparation of plans and specifications related to power distribution, lighting, control systems, etc.Licenses:Professional Engineering License in New York State (preferred)Schedule:Monday through Friday8-hoursdaySalary Range: $130,000-$175,000 annuallyBenefits:Employer 401 K contributionsHealth, dental and vision coverageCompensated time off and holiday payShortLong term disability coverageLife insuranceFlex spending program
