TAKTL is a Pittsburgh-based manufacturer of custom facade panels and architectural elements utilizing a proprietary Architectural Ultra High-Performance Concrete (A|UHPC®) formulation and automated production technology. Our products have been chosen for building envelopes in prestigious commercial and institutional projects worldwide. TAKTL manufacturing is vertically integrated, so we are working on many aspects of faí§ade manufacturing, including design, mold production, panel casting, fabrication, and pre-assembly. We currently have an opening for an experienced Project Manager, who will work with the rest of the team to deliver high quality custom faí§ades. Project Managers engage with projects at the quotation stage through product delivery and closeout, serving as the primary client contact and internal manager. TAKTL sells directly to customers, so the Project Manager relationship is important in driving project success and repeat business. Position responsibilities include client interface, participation in estimating activities, organization of project specifications and details for the drawing approval process, development and maintenance of project schedules, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture or architectural project management, with the ability to read and interpret drawings and details. Successful applicants will be systematic, organized and detail-oriented, while also being actively communicative, personable, and focused on client service. Must enjoy hands-on involvement and working in a collaborative team environment. This position will be fully in-person at our offices adjacent to our manufacturing facility in Turtle Creek, PA. Travel not required.Job ResponsibilitiesReview and execute upon incoming contract, scope, and specification requirements.Develop and communicate project schedules, plans and delivery requirements internally and externally.Review architectural details and assist in directing drafters in production of project specific shop drawingsConduct reviews and quality control checks on project documents, drawings, and production information.Implement critical path reviews and procedures to reduce errors and improve timeliness and accuracy of project delivery.Understand technical details of panel systems and products sufficiently to shepherd projects through manufacturing and then installation by terface with vendors in the service of executing project municate effectively and proactively with clients to resolve issues, provide updates, and answer questions.Required QualificationsBABS degreeArchitectural detailing education or experience5 + years of experience in project management for manufacturing, construction, or similarHighly organizedAbility to manage multiple competing prioritiesClear, proactive verbal and written communicatorThe TAKTL culture is high energy and outgoing with a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach to problem solving and management.
