Laboratory Technician

Location: Cicero, ILPay Rate: $25-30hrDuration: 12 month contract-to-hireDESCRIPTION:Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analysiswet chemistry on product and in-process samples, to support plant operations for the purpose of quality assurancecontrol.Prepare samples and ensure accurate data generation and records, in accordance with the standard operating procedures.Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurancecontrol issues.Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, as well as set preparation standards.Technology: LIMS, SAP, ExcelBachelors Degree in scientific discipline strongly preferredPosition will receive direction and support.Facility and laboratory operate 5:30AM to 6:30-7:itially, LabTech hours are (7:00AM-3:00PM) for training onlyOnce the LabTech is fully trained and demonstrates independence, they will move to a later shift: 9:30AM- close(5:30 - 6:30PM) or early shift, (5:30 am - 1:30 pm).
