Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced and innovative Electrical Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for a client in Alton, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring operational reliability, maximizing equipment utilization, and reducing downtime through effective planning, leadership, and strategic problem-solving. If you have a passion for electrical systems and a proven track record in maintenance management, we'd love to hear from you!Job Title: Electrical Maintenance ManagerLocation: Alton, IL 62002 (Onsite)Schedule: MON-FRI 1st Shift - 7:00 AM StartCompensation: $75,000-$95,000YR (may be negotiable for highly skilled candidates)Reports To: Maintenance Department DirectorEmployment Type: Direct HireKey Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategic Planning: Set and achieve both short- and long-term maintenance goals while providing effective management to your team.Optimize Equipment Efficiency: Drive maximum utilization and productivity by strategically planning and scheduling maintenance work to minimize production downtime.Implement Best Practices: Apply industry-standard maintenance and reliability tools to drive continuous improvement and cost optimization.Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with union leads and leverage internal and external expertise to resolve issues quickly and effectively.Electrical Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for electrical issues, providing support during operations, failures, delays, and special projects.Budget & Project Management: Prepare and manage departmental budgets and project costs, and oversee capital projects that support maintenance objectives.Contractor Oversight: Manage supplemental maintenance activities with contractors, ensuring solutions are both timely and petencies & Qualifications:Education & Experience:Minimum A.S. degree from an accredited college or technical school, or a minimum of 8 years of electrical experience, combined with at least 5 years of leadership in electrical maintenance.Technical Skills:High level of electrical expertise is highly desirable.Strong mathematical aptitude to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and other concepts to practical situations.Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:Proven ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw effective conclusions from technical instructions and munication:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of the organization.Team Leadership:Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, coach, and mentor team members effectively.Software Proficiency:Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Kronos and maintenance programming systems like INFOR is a plus.Why Join Us?This is your opportunity to make a direct impact on our operations by driving maintenance excellence and operational efficiency.
