Alcova Capital is an investment manager specializing in mid-market commercial real estate bridge loans. Since its inception in 2016, the firm has invested over $800 million across 17 major U.S. markets, and also engages in opportunistic preferred equity, joint venture equity, and Opportunity Zone equity investments. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to key financial, operational, and investor relations functions while working closely with a collaborative team.Key Responsibilities:Assist with monthly financial reporting and quarter-end closings for investment entitiesSupport investment valuations and NAV (Net Asset Value) calculationsPerform fund-level analytics, benchmarking and ad hoc data analysisExecute operational tasks including, but not limited to, cash reconciliations, investor allocations and outgoing wire processing with strong attention to detailMaintain and update the investor CRM database and portalAssist with the preparation of investor communications including management updates and project performance updatesOversee maintenance of marketing materials for limited partner investor relationsCollaborate with the CFO, external fund administrator and compliance consultants to ensure accuracy across firm deliverablesIdentify opportunities to streamline finance and accounting processes while adhering to GAAP standardsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field2-4 years of relevant financial experience, with a background in real estate or private equity preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce is a plus)Highly adaptable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentHigh level of integrity and trustworthinessCollaborative team player capable of building strong working relationships within a small company environmentCompensation:Base salary ranging from $85,000-$115,000, depending on experiencePerformance-based bonusesComprehensive benefits packageThis role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the financial operations of a growing investment management firm while gaining exposure to diverse aspects of real estate investments.
