Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel 36 bed adult surgical unit that cares primarily for trauma patients and acute care surgical patients. This unit does have 2 negative pressure rooms that can serve our COVID population. This is a very busy unit where rehabilitating and supporting our patients needs is our highest priority. The most common diagnosis on the unit; Traumas including: spinal cord injuries(new quadriplegics and paraplegics), traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic injuries occurring as a result of a trauma. Acute Care Surgical diagnosis: hernia repair, small bowel obstructions, appendectomy, cholecystectomy. Travelers need to have experience on a fast pace medical surgical unit preferably with Level I Trauma center experience but serval years at a Level II Trauma center is acceptable.
