The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of urgency, a good understanding of project scope, and the ability to lead teams effectively. *Marine Project Engineer Responsibilities* * Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, overseeing planning, execution, and closure. Lead teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results. * Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion by managing internal and external resources. * Allocate and manage resources (personnel, equipment, contractors) to ensure project success, maintaining coordination among all stakeholders. * Oversee internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety while providing leadership throughout the project. * Collaborate with finance to monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure projects stay within financial limits while maintaining quality. * Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management, providing updates on progress, milestones, and necessary adjustments. * Identify and address potential risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on schedule and within scope. * Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management, providing updates on progress, milestones, and necessary adjustments. * Travel 25%-50% of the time, particularly in the first months for training, site visits, and coordination with other teams and offices. Expect 1-2 weeks of travel per month initially. *Marine Project Engineer **Position Requirements* * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. * Project management experience in the marine or industrial sectors, with a focus on shorter-term projects * Experience working in shipyards, drydocks, or new construction is highly preferred. * Hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical systems is advantageous.
