Acute Care Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (7:15am-3:45pm) Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Acute Care Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic trauma team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with trauma surgeons, physicians, and the broader care team to deliver exceptional patient care to trauma and critically ill patients. You'll be an integral part of our acute care trauma services, providing advanced clinical expertise and ensuring optimal outcomes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide comprehensive acute care and trauma management to critically ill and injured patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. * Collaborate with trauma surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in developing and implementing patient care plans. * Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and other advanced clinical interventions. * Monitor and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. * Engage in patient and family education, addressing concerns and providing guidance on injury management, recovery, and rehabilitation. * Participate in trauma rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary team meetings. * Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, trauma protocols, and regulatory guidelines to deliver the highest level of care. Qualifications: * Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. * Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with acute care certification. * 2 years of experience in trauma, emergency, or critical care settings preferred. * Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and delivering excellent patient care. * Strong clinical skills in trauma assessment, procedural care, and critical decision-making. * Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on patient-centered care.
