Successful growing group is looking for a talented Executive Chef to spearhead the opening of their new high caliber Mediterranean concept that will feature coastal Greek influences. With a gorgeous design and aesthetic, there will be a robust high end intimate on-site event aspect to the role as well. Past experience with seafood and Greek cuisine a must!Executive Chef Responsibilities:Lead opening - including menu, hiring, development, establishing SOPsProactively managing costs and budgetsClosely collaborate on R&D and menu development with leadershipTrain, and develop the culinary team to grow to their highest potentialTreat employees and staff with care, dignity, fairness, respect, and recognitionEnsuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen Executive Chef Preferred Requirements:3+ years' experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-caliber conceptStrong background in respected chef-driven restaurantsGreek cuisine experience a must, seafood specialty highly preferred Forward thinking with an eye on current food trends and seasonalityExpert knowledge of P&L, managing inventory, and cost controlsExcellent communication skills and leadership qualitiesExceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safetyFlexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and on holidaysCompensation Package Includes:Base Salary in the range of $90-110kMedical benefitsPTO PlanOther perks
