Wealth Manager Job Description:· Ribbon Falls Wealth Management is seeking a dedicated Wealth Manager interested in working in a small-team environment. This individual will prospect new clients, which will contribute to both personal and firm growth. The Wealth Manager will be dedicated to assisting both individual and business clients in achieving their financial goals by providing professional advice through personalized financial planning and investment management.· We seek a highly independent, self-motivated professional who is licensed and excited about the opportunity to own their future. As a 1099 employee, the Wealth Manager must be able to influence, direct, and manage their business. For our part, Ribbon Falls Wealth Management will provide financial planning for your clients, substantial infrastructure, including office space, industry-standard technology, a back-office team, and customized asset management. Our goal is to free up your time to focus on what you enjoy most and do best: serving clients and developing new business.· An existing book of clients is expected for the Wealth Manager position and your clients will remain your clients, not the firm's. You will be responsible for growing revenue, from which you will receive a competitive payout.· This can be a part-time or full-time position, depending on your revenue production.Wealth Manager Requirements and Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.· Advanced degree preferred, such as, CFP®, ChFC, CFA, AEP®, or CEPA.· Series 65 and Life & Health licenses.· Experience as a Wealth ManagerFinancial Advisor.· Commitment to the highest standard of integrity and ethics.· Excellent verbal and written communication.· Ability to analyze data and think critically. · Detail-orientation with strong organizational skills.· Comfort with working independently.Wealth Manager Duties and Responsibilities:· Organize and lead Personal Wealth and Business Retirement client and prospect meetings, education, and presentations.· Develop a robust understanding of the firm's investment philosophy, with the ability to clearly articulate to clients and gather necessary client data.· Understand and monitor a client's risk tolerance as it relates to their investment portfolio.· Always act in a fiduciary capacity, placing the client's interest first, disclosing any potential conflicts of interest, and providing advice that aligns with the client's goals and financial situation.· Create, develop, present, and execute financial plans. Requires comprehensive knowledge of various technology platforms provided by the firm.· Work within the regulatory and compliance framework of the industry.· Service existing clients and prospect new clients.· Field client calls and follow up.· Effectively communicate with the asset management, operations, and financial planning teams about tasks necessary to execute investment strategy shifts and updates to financial plans.· Perform regular client reviews and update paperwork as needed.· Complete firm training as required by compliance team, as well as continuing education, as needed.· Commit to ongoing learning and professional development in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
