Plant Controller (Pennsylvania)

CSG Talent are partnered with a leading food manufacturing business who are looking to hire a plant controller to play a crucial role in the overall management of one of their key manufacturing sites in the US. The role is based in Lancaster County, PA with relocation assistance offered to candidates who are interested in the role & open to moving to the location from other stateslocations. Please note, this is an on-site role as it is a high visibility position, working closely with plant leadership. Responsibilities:Perform monthly closing process including preparing journal entries & reports.Evaluateupdate inventory reserves.Analyse monthly plant cost center spend.Analyse spare parts spending & pile production & labor stats.Provide cost related information for new product & capital spend projects.Provides guidance on proper classification of spending, capital versus plete annual unit standard cost update including development of direct labor, variable overhead and tech structure rates.Identify cost saving initiatives & areas for improvement.Support plant manager in the preparation of labor, variable overhead and tech structure budgets.Implements and improves internal controls necessary to safeguard plant assets and accurately report results of operations. Requirements:Existing experience at plant controller or assistant plant controller level within manufacturing settings (food manufacturing experience not essential)Experience in high visibilitycollaborative role, working with plant leadership & SLT teams. Proven track record of improving financial performance of your site. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience with SAPStrong knowledge of manufacturing standard cost and accounting systems.
