FIG M&A Analyst / Associate

Metis Search is partnering with a leading Independent Investment Bank to expand their FIG M&A team in New York. We are seeking Senior Analysts and Associates with strong FIG M&A execution experience.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic advisory services to clients in the financial services industry.Conduct detailed valuation analyses of financial institutions, utilizing industry-specific metrics and methodologies.Assist in structuring M&A transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing tax implications.Support negotiation processes, representing clients' interests to achieve favorable terms.Oversee due diligence activities, examining financial statements, regulatory compliance, and operational aspects to identify risks and ensure strategic fit.Collaborate with clients to raise capital for M&A transactions, leveraging a robust network and expertise in financial markets.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree required.2+ years of FIG-related experience in investment banking in either; Banks, Insurance, Asset Management, Specialty Finance, Fintech or Wealth Management Proven experience in conducting valuations, financial modeling, and preparing pitchbooks and CIMs.Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, both verbal and written.Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence.Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship of a work visa.Series 63, Series 79 required.
