Industrial Maintenance Technician

Aegis is seeking a Maintenance Technician with experience in the Food & Beverage industry to join one of our clients on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. This is a direct hire position with competitive pay and benefits!Day to Day Responsibilities: Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, including filling machines, seamers, case packers, palletizers, conveyors, pasteurizer, & blending equipmentMaintain and troubleshoot facilities based equipment, such as boilers and chillers.Responsible for completing electrical repairs and troubleshooting on gearboxes, motors, and conveyor systems.Document maintenance work within the internal plete preventative maintenance on equipment, cleaning, greasing, and dismantling equipment as necessary.What we're looking for:2+ years of maintenance experience within the food & beverage manufacturing industry.Experience with electrical maintenance, including wiring, motors, gearboxes, and troubleshooting conveyor systems.Experience with parts replacement on production equipment, including gears, bearings, nuts, bolts, and machine components.Experience with facilities maintenance - including work on boilers & chillers.Ability to work on overnight shift.Positive and collaborative attitude.Sense of urgency.Education andor Experience:High school diploma or G.E.D. required.Two or more years of related experience in can or bottle production andor training required.Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
