The role includes treating a mix of inpatient and outpatient patients, primarily focused on orthopedics, neurology, vestibular disorders, and geriatric care. LOCATION: LINTON, IN CLIENT: Greene County General Hospital SETTING: Mix of inpatient and outpatient patient population START DATE: End of April/Beginning of May GUARANTEE: 40 hours  ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: 13 Weeks REQUESTED EXPERIENCE: Will consider strong new grads Prefers OP/IP experience STAFF: We have other PT/OT/PTAs on staff; Our Director is a PT and will supervise PTAs. EMR:  Net Health- Redoc version CASELOAD / PATIENT SCHEDULING: Common Treatments/Diagnosis : Ortho, Neuro, Vestibular, Wound Care, Geriatric, some Pediatrics (not a lot) Average patients per day :  an 8 hour day PT sees about 11 patients and a 10 hour a day PT sees about 15.  We could do 5 -8 hour days and 4 - 10 hr days for the PT.   Average number of evals a day : We try to not put more than 3 outpatient evaluations a day but there are 3 most days What percentage of partients are inpatient versus outpatient :  We separate our inpatient and outpatient each day.  So a PT would have 2 days a week more than likely that they are the inpatient PT and we allocate 5 hours for inpatient for them that day but this can vary depending on number of inpatients.  On a day when a PT is doing inpatient care, we try not to give outpatient evaluations but there will still be some outpatient treatments.     SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday;  on-call every 6th Saturday  ADDITIONAL INFO:   LOCATION HIGHLIGHTS: -Linton, IN located SW IN, part of Bloomington, IN -1 hr 45 mins SW of Indianapolis; less than 1 hr south of Terre Haute; 2.5 hrs NW of Louisville.
