Plant & Tree Care Specialist Needed for Beautiful EstatePrivate property in Dover, MA looking for a hands-on Plant & Tree Care Specialist with a strong love for the outdoors. This position has the primary responsibility of maintaining the property???s grounds, including shrubs, trees, gardens and fields. Experience in Northeast gardeninglandscaping and understanding of species and climate zones required. This position is a unique opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors and seeks to join a dynamic, high functioning and expanding team!Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Annual pruning and plant care for a diverse list of shrubbery and trees. Grass (lawn and pasture) maintenance as well. Forestrytree work (clearing and selective pruning)Trail MaintenanceWalk the property daily and identify potential areas of concern.Maintain visual aesthetic to ensure areas are clean, safe, and up to standard. Liaise with vendors and internal team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Review and complete daily work requests as assigned by the Estate Manager.QualificationsRequirements:Knowledge of farm, forestrytree, horticulture, grounds, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniquespractices.Knowledge of native woody shrubs and trees, with the ability to maintain for both the forest (wild) and landscape settings. General knowledge of methods, materials, and practices used to maintain grounds. Gardening knowledge, compost, and irrigation repairs a plus.Previous experience working on equestrian estate, private grounds, or golf course a plus.Able to operate machinery andor hand power tools such as chainsaws, tractors, etc. Able to lift up-to 70 lbs. Work is physically demanding and requires extended periods of standing, bending, walking, kneeling, and moving outdoors in various weather conditions.Willing to perform other duties when needed to assist the team (e.g., maintenance, cleaning).Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and independently.Proactive and positive attitude is a must.Excellent communication skills both orally and written required.
