Through this network, TOP provides strategic M&A advisory services and co-invests in private equity and venture capital opportunities.Our team is seeking to add a Full-Time AssociateSenior Associate with 2-4 years of experience. The candidate must have an outstanding analytical mind, strong interpersonal and communication skills, integrity and possess the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment. This is an incredibly unique opportunity, unlike a traditional investment banking position, in that a candidate will be exposed to a significant amount of client interaction and will be afforded the opportunity to travel for both pitching new business and executing transactions. Each of our employees bring unique experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds to meet the evolving challenges and opportunities in the economy today. Qualifications:Undergraduate or graduate degree with high academic achievement and 3+ years of previous experience at a bulge bracket or boutique investment bank in investment banking, merchant banking, or private equity is preferredDeep analytical and problem-solving skill set with proficiency in financial modeling and strong written and oral communication skillsComfortable working on broad assignments, breaking down "big picture" questions and problems into smaller componentsPassion for investing and learning about new industries with a direct interest in consumer, sports, business services, and industrial sectorsDemonstrated ability and interest working in a lean, entrepreneurial environmentStrong time management skills and the capacity to handle multiple assignments at onceOutstanding work ethic and attention to detail in all work preparedHigh level of integrity and energy with a positive team-oriented attitudeProficiency in Microsoft Suite required (MS Excel and PowerPoint)Series 79, Series 63, and SIE licensedExecution focusedResponsibilities:Develop in-depth assessment of business plans and investment proposals to determine business model viability, industry attractiveness, and strategic fitPlay a key leadership role in the transaction execution processBuild strong relationships within the venture and startup ecosystems to source potential investmentsAdvise and work with founders, CEOs, CFOs and key senior management to formulate investment marketing and due diligence materialsPrepare and review complex financial analyses and models and deliver presentations on conclusionsSupport portfolio companies and current investments as well as produce comprehensive investor updates for various private equity co-investmentsGenerate novel insights from analysis and develop and implement new methodologies to drive actionable resultsManage deal flow and other process elements relevant to TOP's continued successWill be expected to dedicate ~50% to investing opportunities and ~50% to advisory with capability to focus more on either strategy based on candidate's interests  The environment is collaborative, demanding, fast paced and entrepreneurial.
