Senior Level Energy EngineerDutiesResponsibilities:Specific knowledge of mechanicalHVAC systems, electrical systems, renewable technologies, water, and building envelope technologies.Directly participate, as well as manage our partners, in Level I, II, and III energy audits of MUSH facilities on Long Island as well as the greater NYC area.Perform detailed energy calculations, as well as review the calculations provided by our partners.Understand utility rate tariffs.Understand local utility rebates as well as federal incentives for energy-efficient upgrades.Fit, Form, and Function knowledge.Capable to value engineering products and or manufacturers and evaluating the best options to give the best chance of winning work.Verify the scope of work accuracy.Remain knowledgeable of the latest technology and products on the market.Ability to take the lead role in putting a full quoteproposalRFP response together with accuracy.Understanding difficult, moderate, and easy labor situations.Understanding of direct and indirect costs.Understanding the financials of a comprehensive energy efficiency proposal.Capable of communicating with clients on wants, needs, and budget requirements that will support the final cludes developing a trusted advisor relationship withthe client.Attend RFP walk-throughs.Senior Energy Engineer reports directly to the Vice President of Energy SolutionsRequired Skills: Must have a detailed understanding of all aspects of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.Must be detail-oriented.Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.Must have experience reading plans, specifications, and drawings.Must be able to meet project deadlines.Must be able to manage more than one project at a time.PreferredDesired Skills: Experience with school districts, EPCs, and NYSED is highly preferred.Energy modeling experience is highly preferred.PE andor CEM are preferred.CAD Experience is preferred.
