The Director of Franchise Recruitment is responsible for driving franchise growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new franchise agreements with high-caliber candidates. This role plays a critical part in expanding the brand's footprint by managing the full sales cycle"”from lead generation to deal execution"”while ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective franchisees. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven sales leader with a deep understanding of franchise development, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to accelerate the franchise pipeline.Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:Franchise Sales & RecruitmentReports directly to the VP, Franchise Recruitment and support the execution of franchise growth strategiesLead the franchise sales process from initial inquiry to signed agreement, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for prospective franchisees.Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to attract high-quality candidates, including multi-unit operators and experienced business investors.Pre-qualify and evaluate franchise prospects based on financial and operational requirements.Manage and track leads in FranConnect, ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-ups.Present the brand's value proposition, unit economics, and growth opportunities to prospective franchisees via one-on-one meetings, webinars, and Discovery Days.Collaborate with marketing and external lead generation partners to optimize franchise recruitment campaigns and digital marketing initiatives.Negotiate franchise agreements in partnership with legal and leadership teams.Pipeline Management & Development SupportMaintain an active and updated sales pipeline, providing weekly reports on lead status, conversion rates, and market trends.Work cross-functionally with Real Estate, Design & Construction, and Operations to ensure franchisees transition smoothly from signing to store opening.Assist franchisees with financing solutions by coordinating with preferred lenders and partners.Coordinate and lead Discovery Day events, ensuring a world-class experience that inspires prospective franchisees to join the brand.Market Expansion & Trade Show RepresentationIdentify and prioritize high-potential markets for franchise growth based on data-driven insights and company objectives.Represent the brand at franchise trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to attract new candidates.Reporting, Process Improvement & ComplianceWork with VP, Franchise Recruitment to develop and refine franchise sales processes that enhance efficiency and speed to market.Support VP, Franchise Recruitment to prepare executive-level reports for the C-Suite and Private Equity Board.Ensure compliance with franchise disclosure regulations (FDD, agreements, applications, etc.)Qualifications & Experience:5+ years of experience in franchise sales, business development, or a related field.Proven track record of closing multi-unit franchise deals and exceeding sales targets.Strong knowledge of franchise development, FDD compliance, financing, and market expansion.Experience working with CRM systems (preferably FranConnect) to track and manage leads.Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work cross-functionally with real estate, marketing, and operations teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentations.Ability to travel as needed for Discovery Days, trade shows, and market pensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary + commission and performance-based prehensive benefits package, including health, dental, visionOpportunity to play a key role in a rapidly growing national brand.This is a high-impact leadership role for a motivated, results-oriented franchise sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
