Top-Tier Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking a Senior Credit Vice President for a permanent position!Responsibilities:Responsible for underwriting a financial institution and public finance loan portfolio, with a particular focus on FundsRecommend creditrating requests and review quarterly covenants in our global credit management system. Write credit assessments for new requests and annual reviews in a timely fashionPresent credit requests to credit committee and prepare credit minutesEffectively interact with front office on new credit requests, annual reviews, and amendmentsPrepare and contribute to quarterly watchlist and leverage lending reports as neededRecommend creditrating requests and review quarterly covenants in our global credit management system.Engages in lending to corporates, commercial real estate and project finance Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree5+ years working experience in Financial Institutions in either a risk and credit roleStrong credit risk and analytical skills Solid understanding of credit lending and financial productsEffective interpersonal, communication and writing skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to take on more responsibility and new initiativesProficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus
