Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a business orientedbusiness driven financial professional who utilizes their accountingfinance background to analyze business & financial information and prepare analysis and reports as needed and directed.The Ultimus FP&A team are Stewards of the business's financial performance. They will proactively provide sound business and financial information, metrics, insights and analysis that enhances decision-making, enables the business to formulate an effective business strategy, plan and goals......that translates into actionable initiatives... ..that drivessteers the business toward its goals......that improves Productivity, Efficiency and Profitability.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare proforma pricing and profitability analysis on new business opportunitiesAnalyze current and past financial data and performancePrepare ad hoc financial analyses and KPI reportingPrepare annual budgets and update monthly rolling forecasts of the income statement, balance, statement of cash flows and capital expendituresCreate and maintain various spreadsheets and dashboards for monthly financial and KPI reporting to private equity sponsorIdentify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvementPrepare reports and projections based on this analysis; assist in preparing presentations for senior leadershipCoordinate with members of the management team to update financial information and forecastsPrepare weekly sales and pipeline reporting out of SalesforcePrepare monthly client implementation and attrition reporting out of various source systemsAssist with the preparation of quarterly board reportingAssist with the financial due diligence and risk assessment process on potential acquisitionsParticipate in all pre-acquisition analysis and post-acquisition validationKnowledge and SkillsAdvanced working knowledge of MS Excel (pivots & lookups) and MS PowerPointBusiness savvy with a strong inclination to understand the what, hows and why's of the business and its financialsMust be results oriented, innovative, adaptable, strong attention to detail and capable of working independentlyStrong interpersonal skills with ability to build working relationships with all levels of management and stakeholdersStrong understanding of internal controlsWorking knowledge of US GAAPExperience with NetSuite ERP, NetSuite PBCS and Salesforce and databaseswarehousesAbility to work with deadlinesQualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingFinance5 to 10 years of combined experience in FP&A, Accounting or Finance.Minimum 3 years of Financial Services industry experience
