Associates are assigned an array of responsibilities including:Partnering with senior bankers and clients to effectively execute the deal process:Quarterbacking the onboarding and due diligence for new clients, including regular meetings with management and other stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of the businessDeveloping high-quality marketing materials, identifying prospective buyers andor investors, and creating market mapsPreparing detailed financial analyses to provide a credible basis for company valuations, market positioning and forecasting future business performanceCoordinating diligence efforts between parties and ensuring deal execution activities meet client expectationsStaying abreast of new developments within the firm's coverage areas by tracking buyers, conducting recurring calls with industry players, and tracking public and private company deal activityManaging, supervising, and coaching junior banking team members, including assisting with on campus recruiting effortsAssisting in business development initiatives:Preparing client proposals and presentationsCultivating relationships with prospective clients and investorsContributing to the firmwide thought leadership initiativesIdeal candidates for the Associate position will possess the following:3-5 years of investment banking, or corporate development experience with a heavy emphasis on transaction process and financial modelingExtreme attention to detail and a high level of analytical, financial, and presentation skillsAbility to proactively manage multiple projects in an organized and efficient mannerExcellent verbal written communication, particularly within power pointAbility to obtain necessary FINRA licensesStrong consideration will be given to candidates who possess:Prior investment banking experience as an analyst or associateAn undergraduate degree with academic distinctionIdeal candidates for the Associate position will possess the following:3-5 years of investment banking, or corporate development experience with a heavy emphasis on transaction process and financial modelingExtreme attention to detail and a high level of analytical, financial, and presentation skillsAbility to proactively manage multiple projects in an organized and efficient mannerExcellent verbal written communication, particularly within power pointAbility to obtain necessary FINRA licensesStrong consideration will be given to candidates who possess:Prior investment banking experience as an analyst or associateAn undergraduate degree with academic distinctionAt this time, Bailey will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
