Our client, a leader in the Construction industry, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Dallas, TX. This is a hands-on, onsite role that will focus on electrical system design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and controls for manufacturing processes.Troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems.Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and other industry regulations.Lead projects involving electrical upgrades, system integration, and new equipment installation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, production managers, and maintenance teams.Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.Develop and maintain electrical schematics, technical documentation, and wiring diagrams.Assist with capital projects, including budgeting and vendor coordination.Train maintenance personnel on electrical troubleshooting and best practices.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.PE License5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.Strong expertise in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and industrial automation.Knowledge of low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution systems.Experience with motor controls, VFDs, power systems, and instrumentation.Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software.Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in high-speed manufacturing, food & beverage, aerospace, or automotive industries.Knowledge of SCADA, MES, and IIoT systems.
