About the Position:Retirement Planning Services LLC is seeking a full-time support advisor. This position will primarily be responsible for providing support to the Lead Advisors and would be the perfect fit for someone who is passionate about financial planning, enjoys working within a team structure, loves working with clients, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Duties will include attending client meetings with the Lead Advisor, data gathering, servicing client requests, and helping to develop financial plans. Responsibilities:â— Preparing meeting materials, assembling financial reports, modeling scenarios in proprietary planning software, and ensuring follow up items are completed in a timely manner.â— Attend client meetings with the Lead Advisor, take notes to determine action items, and become integrated into the client relationships.â— Manage client plans, monitor client activity and service client needs.â— Coordinate with the new business department to ensure all new clients are onboarded in an efficient manner, with a constant focus on the client experience.â— Participate in annual reviews, work with New Business team to process money transfers, communicate with financial institutions and other special projects, as assigned.â— Explain financial planning, tax and investment management concepts and strategies to clients through both written and oral communication.â— Attend seminars, retirement workshops and client education courses as needed.â— Assist in developing processes and systems to drive operational efficiencies.â— As you develop your skills, additional responsibilities may be assigned to you.Desired Qualities:â— At least 1-3 years of experience in the financial planning industry or college equivalent.â— Series 65 and LifeHealth licensure OR willingness to pursue licenses strongly preferred.â— Additional designations such as CFP or AFC are a plus.â— Tech savvy, proficient in Microsoft OfficeExcel.â— Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.â— Team player, enthusiastic, resourceful with a humble attitude.â— Comfortable with a lot of client interaction.â— Superior written and oral communication skills.â— Well organized and self-driven (will be expected to self-manage and meet deadlines).â— Attentive to detail, excellent time management and exceptional organizational skills.â— Excited to take on new challenges and adapt to change.Next Steps:â— Along with your resume, include a cover letter telling us about yourself (preferred), your career aspirations and desired salary range.
