Overview:As a Land Acquisition Associate, you will play a pivotal role in identifying high-potential land leads and securing calls or meetings with them. You'll be responsible for cold-calling, networking with key stakeholders (landowners, brokers, municipalities, and utility providers). This position requires strong communication and negotiation skills, a self-starter attitude, and the ability to develop relationships that lead to land purchases.DutiesResponsibilities: Leverage existing land databases and apps to identify acquisition targets.Conduct targeted cold-calling, emailing, and in-person visits to landowners, brokers, and other stakeholders.Establish and maintain relationships with municipalities, county officials, power suppliers, and other relevant parties.Participate in local networking events and industry forums to uncover new leads.Move prospects through the acquisition pipeline"”from initial contact to setting up meetings with IDM Team.Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth transaction processes.Collaborate with internal analysts and engineers to assess zoning regulations and construction feasibility.Maintain accurate records of leads, outreach activities, negotiations, and deal progress.Provide regular status updates to senior management, highlighting key milestones and challenges.Stay informed about regional development trends.Required SkillsAbilities: 2+ years in real estate acquisitions, sales, brokerage, or similar roles"”preferably involving land deals or commercial propertiesBachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field.
