We are seeking a highly skilled Color Management Specialist with strong expertise in color theory, printing technologies, and hands-on experience with industry-standard software and hardware. The ideal candidate will excel in achieving color accuracy and consistency across all printed materials, including fabric substrates, and mentoring team members to meet departmental objectives.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement advanced color management strategies to optimize print quality and consistency, leveraging experience in managing diverse projects.Apply extensive knowledge of color theory, typography, layout, and RIP software (e.g., EFI Fiery, ONYX, Caldera) to maintain high-quality standards in color reproduction.Utilize hands-on experience with Canon, HP, and other large-format printers to calibrate and adjust machines for different substrates.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and uphold color standards across printing workflows.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to color consistency and printer operations, ensuring timely delivery under tight deadlines.Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices for color management and file preparation.Maintain documentation of workflows, calibration settings, and color profiles for reference and quality control.Required SkillsAbilities:Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and a proven understanding of RIP software and color spaces.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in fast-paced environments.Strong collaborative and communication skills, paired with a meticulous attention to detail.Familiarity with various printing technologies, including large-format and fabric printing.Capability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of operational excellence.Education and Experience:Associate degree in Graphic Design or Multimedia (Bachelor's degree preferred).Extensive hands-on experience in pre-press and large-format printing operations, including managing workflows and color matching.Familiarity with diverse substrates and print media, including aluminum and fabric.Experience with calibration and troubleshooting of Canon, HP, and other digital printing technologies.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications in color management software or RIP tools.Experience leading or managing pre-press and production teams in a professional setting.#ColorManagement, #PrintingJobs #GraphicDesignJobs
